Before you go after any of the screws, it is best to use hollow ground tips of varying sizes that will exactly fill the screw slots or you risk burring the screw heads.

Also, (after ensuring gun is unloaded) pull the triggers to take the tension off the main springs before removing screws on the side of the action.

When you dismantle the action, be careful not to inadvertently lose the trip, trip spring and plunger. Small parts these.

Take it slow and easy and all should go well.
