Congrats to Team Parker, it’s nice to see new shooters getting involved. It was a real treat watching Jackson Truitt shoot with our top ten shooters. Jackson is in the 10th grade. Great job by Mills running this event along with our other members who help with the display.
The Parker Foundation banquet was fantastic and it’s always nice to hear Louis Parker talk about his family history and the articles and guns he had on display. Many thanks to George, Jim and Jeff for their efforts in setting the event up. We sure missed Bill Mullins this year.

Sincere congrats to the Parker team and kudos to the LC Smith team for a spirited showing.
More on Adam Pickett from NC who took the Top Gun award. Actually this is the second year in a row and twice so with Adam shooting a LC Smith Field Grade 32-inch "Long Range" that's choked >40 points in both barrels. The Long Range was LC Smith's competitor to the Super-Fox and most would say it's hardly a typical double gun for sporting clays. Credit where due to Adam. Just goes to underscore a friend's comment when guys ask him what to get their chokes opened up to ..... "chokes are irrelevant, learn to shoot".
