I think prices have jumped way up from the 6500.00 that was the norm pre inflation for a nice two barrel set. I might pay 7K if I wanted it and I think that is all the money!, and that would depend on the chokes, stock dimensions and such. The pictured gun is very nice and if stocked correctly a guy may spend 7500.00 and still be happy. Opening chokes if properly done does not affect value of the used guns that much. I feel the only choke that really needs cutting is the full as they were way over choked from the factory at .033-.038 I had my 28" barrels opened from .014/.033 to a usable .003/.020 = Skeet 1 and full. When grouse hunting, I like a 28gauge gun with 28" barrels and grouse chokes. If you want a Skeus parker for hunting that has that over choke barrel, this is what needs to happen.
