last week a very attractive 1903 GH 12G sold for $925. it was $325 the last morning no reserve.

Yows, don't cut your barrels and rush to put your guns on Gunbroker! The Parker name sells but uh, hope it doesn't happen like that too often.

I am sure most of us have had this experience. On many occasions at the clay target clubs i shoot people have asked " what is that gun", when told it is a Parker invariably the response is " those are worth a fortune". When told that the VH 12 i have is available for 1-2000.00 they are shocked.
I have helped some get into double guns, Parkers by pointing them to gun broker and GI and helping with what is reasonable and decent configuration and condition. A few members here have also helped by giving their opinions.
The general shooting public see's the rare high condition auction prices and thinks they are all worth that amount.
