I have had a little project going for years and it is finally finished.
I did a upgrade of a model 90 Winchester to a deluxe with no. 8 engraving.
First, it took me a long time to find a 90 in .22 long rifle with a perfect bore.
I had a piece of black walnut that I had been saving and I had the wood done first, then I had the screws repaired and nitre blued. Then came a long hiatus. During this time I acquired the sight set that I wanted to use.
I have known and been friends with Angelo Bee since I was 14 and wanted to have him do something just for me so I got around to sending the gun to him earlier this year. Then I sent the gun for final finish and case colors.
I am very pleased with the results.

That's fantastic Dave! That wood looks so much like the kind of wood that Winchester would have originally used on a No. 8 1890
