I use loads from old manuals when there is no other choice & Red Dot often listed. Beside the usual cautions oftentimes they don’t fill hulls as good as I would like, hulls and wads usually the issue. . Unique good example.
Having said that my supply of Red Dot is running low and may have to go to Green Dot Unique or even use my supply of 20/28 for 12 G. To that end have some very good Green Dot 20G loads from older manuals. Preserves the 20/28. Green Dot has the tube set problem too. Never gives any trouble In 20G Trojan or Beretta 391
Able to buy 8 pounder of Red Dot will stick with it for 12.
