I guess when big dealers are asking 6 to 9k for a 20ga Trojan or 20ga VH, 34K sounds reasonable

Some have enquired about the clown catalog, there was no price on it, and dont believe it was for sale. There were lots of books, catalogs, and memorabilia that were just part of his display. I should have taken better pictures, but you can blow up the pictures and read the description of the guns. The VH was also a single trigger, beavertail fore arm. I did not ask to handle the guns. Again, very nice guy to talk to. I was just so surprised to find these at this show, usually 75% black guns and military stuff and perhaps a beat up 12 Sterly, Nitro Special, etc is all you will find. The VH 20 28" on another table was in good condition, but was over-priced IMHO at almost 6 grand.

Maybe he knew his prices were high but put out there to attract offers. (That’s usually why a “POR” is put on a nice gun.)

Personally I don’t get into that and either pay the asking price because I want the gun… or I just walk away. Experience has taught me that a seller won’t cut his price in half, or even by a third, because of what I might say.

Was the brochure titled: "Small Bore shotgun Parkers" for sale? I'm looking for one of those. I wish I would have known about the show as I live within easy driving distance of Washington Pa. You never know what might show up at these small gun shows!

The show is probably on today, as well. It is usually a weekend-long show.

There is a fellow in southeast PA that displays unpriced or unreal priced Parkers on his table. He has a .410 VHE Skeet among his wares. He isn't a real friendly guy and has never replied to any of my questions in many years of attending shows. He is probably one of us, but I won't invite him to Christmas dinner at my house. Anybody know who he is?
