I am right handed and cock the left hammer first. I find it easier to cock the left hammer first so I'm not trying to work around a cocked hammer.

Right handed and right barrel. It is almost always the barrel I shoot first on the rest of the doubles. Usually the more opened choked barrel too

I’ve had a person or two tell me they cock both hammers at the same time . I tried it and didn’t find it very comfortable.

I can't either. When a turkey is coming in I will cock both hammers individually

I’ve used a hammer 8 gauge at a tower shoot so I wasn’t worried about noise . But I’ve hunted deer from a treestand with a hammer gun along . And I usually pull the hammer back with the trigger pressed back to keep from making the click sound . And of course you have to be a bit more carefull doing it that way

Right-handed, I do the right hammer first and then left. Never tried doing them both at the same time. This is on a Brit gun (Armstrong) 12ga. light game gun. The hammer springs are strong.

I've got a couple British guns I can cock them both at once, but I've never handled a Parker where I could manage it. I'm a lefty but I seem to always cock the right barrel first.
