No real info, but I live in Lexington and over the past 5-10 years I have seen a couple of silver trophies similar to this sell on eBay and at some local auctions. I have bid on a couple but never bought one. I do remember that at the time I bid on one, I did a little online search and discovered a number of newspaper accounts of one of the trophies which was engraved. I don't recall the name but I do remember that from the numerous accounts across the Ohio valley area, the Bourbon County winner was apparently a prominent shooter around the first part of the century. Like I say, I have no real hard facts, but I ws surprised at the large amount of interest there must have been in the sport at the time.
