If neither Chuck nor Dean know what the letter B designates then there is a good chance you may never get hard evidence. I was grasping at straws hoping we could find something, it seemed plausible. I would suggest that if you are really interested you join the PGCA and order a research letter. It was a 12 ga. GHE. Remington owned Parker Bros. This stock was made in 1937 so it probably was made in Meriden, CT. I don't usually say "Don't bother ordering a letter" but we only have the IBM card and it's not really worth a letter IMHO.
