Bill those sound like optimized Bobwhite guns. I envy your having two!
I have looked at dozens of VH 28s on the interenet and can't get a feel for the pricing of shooters.
I have a 20 and a 28 Birmingham boxlocks factory choked cylinder and choke (the left barrel is marked "not for ball". I also have an Ithaca Grade 4 sixteen factory choked cylinder and full. The little O frame 16 V is factory choked 8 and 12.
