Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Repro Serial #'s
Does anyone have any idea on how many of the " Prototype Repro. " guns were built ? I have read some where there were around 150, " P Serialed 20 Ga. " guns ,but recently ,I have seen a 20 Ga. Repro. " Serial # P- 424 " , I find it hard to imagine that Mr. Skeuse ,built and gave away that many guns ? Any thoughts on this high numbered 20 Ga. ? Thanks ; Russ

I am not convinced of the common explanations given about the P guns. Has anyone gotten an explanation from Mr. Skeuse? Prototypes? Gifts? Family guns? It seems like a lot of guns for any of those reasons. Could it have been their designated prefix under the Gun Control Act of 1968 which Skeuse got excused from shortly after starting production? It seems like other companies were forced to use prefixes. Why not Skeuse? Winchester used "W". Why wouldn't Skeuse have chosen "P" for Parker, if he had a choice? Maybe ATF excused him from the use of a prefix since his production was so limited.
