If it'll make you feel better, the high temperature today at our house in Phoenix was 40 F, with a 20-30 mph wind all day. No, we don't have snow, but for here that is a cold day.

No help John. You know our place and this AM was -32. Bad part was it was cold most of the night because it was -26 at 9 PM when I stoked up the shop fire. Plugged in the truck (of course) but the diesel still gelled. So much for the co-ops winter blend. House water quit since it dropped to 22 in the heated/insulated shop where the pressure tank resides. Quick fix on the pressure switch with a hair dryer. Also, the truck straightened out after an hour or so. I shaved and cleaned up with water from the stove resevoir before we thawed the pressure switch. Used the pitcher and basin, just like the good old days! There is something to be said for running water.
