In the fall with thicker clothing it will probably be way too long for you. You can remedy this problem by shipping it to me…

Well, the research letter on my VH 16 arrived. It checks out as mostly original, save the silvers pad. It was shipped to a Howard Perry in Greenville, SC, so a southern gun which is uncommon. 26" and 6 1/2 pounds

Mills nice buy. I bought my son a VH 16 ga 26 on a 1 frame. He took it to the Tug Hill today for grouse, 4 flushes but no shots, still too many leaves. They make a perfect upland gun not too heavy but not whippy. 7

Off the top of my head I have three that letter as originally sent to the south . My hammerless 8 to Florida , a VHE 12 26” to Georgia and a VH 12 28”n32” 2 barrel to Charlottesville VA about 25 miles from me .

I have a few sent to the South. My other VH 16 with 26 inch barrels was sent to Atlanta, so this makes kind of a pair. Will have to try grouse and woodcock hunting up around Greenville now

The BH arrived yesterday. A bit of a project, but should clean up nicely.

I really like the setter scene on the floorplate
