Pretty darn nice!
You don’t often see that kind of figure in a Ruger’s wood unless it was ordered with better wood. You have done that gun proud!

A long time ago I bought a Red Label 20 but it was stocked way too high so in field shooting I never did very well but I won trophys in local trap events.

Nice Ruger indeed!

What is the significance of the D5 ?

I just started this Ruger in stainless . This is an unfired from the box 1980’s RRL,
Very nice wood. I’ll post some pictures when she is complete.

Very nice ! Let’s see Katy TX if my memory serves is SW of Houston not to far from Sugarland correct ? I have an aunt and uncle that live in Sugarland .

Due west of Houston. Long ago we were a rice farming community covered with ducks and geese but those days are long gone. The rice fields are now filled with homes and were just the west side of the armpit.
