That's right Mills. The 1-frame 12 was about as common as the 2-frame 12 in the hammer gun days. I have a beautiful Grade-4 12 gauge hammer gun on the 1-frame with 30" Bernard barrels.

I have a beautiful Gr.2 hammer on a 1 frame and 32" tubes. Love it!
