Tom, that's exactly the gun I got for Kathy... 28 gauge, PG, DT, 26", Q1/Q2, BTFE. A wonderful grouse & woodcock gun.

I just bought a 28 DT, beavertail, straight grip Repro with 28" barrels, a hard gun to find. I think my next Repro will be a DT, beavertail, 26" gun, grip style either way. 26" Repros are the bargain these days and much easier to find than 28" guns.

Agree Bill, thats the one most folks want for sure. I wanted factory open chokes and DT and that pretty much turned into a 26" barrel gun. I shoot most of my birds at about 20 yards and those full/mod chokes can turn a Woodcock into a pile of feathers at that range. PS. Sure would like a factory beavertail forearm. I'm sure there are a few out there somewhere.
