You fellows are so very kind! I appreciate the feedback. I am looking forward to what the research letter has to say. I do also look forward to having many memories with this old gun but I sure wish it could tell me some of the stories it has seen over the past 112 years. I can only imagine! I think I understand what the “dolls head extension” is but I am still trying to figure out where the “ejector stop plate” is..lol. Please forgive my ignorance.. And Dean I do believe this is a turkey gun since chokes are 0.040” and 0.048”.. David, the wood is what convinced me to pull the trigger on this one!! Thank you guys for such positive feedback. More pics attached.
