The 28-.410 Repro set that I own is built on a 00 28 ga frame. The .410 barrel frame is wider, the barrels are spaced wider, the rib is wider and the .410 barrels do not touch at the terminal end. As a result, the .410 barrels are infact heavier than the 28 ga. barrels; both are 26". The .410 repro barrel lug is marked 0000, but they are 00. This is not the case with my original 28 and .410. My V-grade .410 is marked 000, narrower frame, narrower rib and barrels touch at the terminal end; barrel wgt 2-8. My V-grade 28 is marked 00 and barrel wgt 2-10; again both 26". Hopefully this helps with some of the aforementioned questions.
