Noted author John Davis esq. has been known to shoot a Parker once or twice.

Yup, I mentioned Mills earlier in this thread. Two very nice books to his credit and both have lots(!) of references to Parkers.

There is a writer fellow from Kansas, initials P.Y., that has been known to carry a Parker or 2--heard he plays a little guitar also, right Phil?

And I believe said writer fellow took a double on pheasants with his Parker.

Hey Mills read your PP article last night. I also have a GH 16 O frame damascus that has 27" barrels. Story was it fell over and dented the muzzles--was born with 28". Forget the weight, think it is around 6 lbs 3 oz.

Sorry; I missed your reference. Or else my reading comprehension is suspect...

Harold, "a little" pretty much covers it...

Maybe at least an asterisk for Hal Lyman, as I am not aware of his having written any hunting stories.

He was a SALT WATER SPORTSMAN magazine colleague of Frank Woolner, who wrote TIMBERDOODLE! and GROUSE and GROUSE HUNTING, and with whom he collaborated on fishing books, and is photographed and cited in Woolner’s bird hunting stories, albeit described as “lost without his 16-gauge English double”. But, he did own a Parker Invincible.
