Craig, I'm not sure what concerned you about the industrial hulls, but if you were to cross-section one (Yes, I have) you would find they are as stoutly made as possible, and certainly more so than hull like the cheap Winchesters sold at Walmart, etc. The double belt of the rim is added to the first one, so you have twice the base thickness. If you owned an 8 ga. you would be using these, or none at all.
