The weight stamp on these 3-frame barrels is 5 4. The originally 32-inch 12-gauge barrels for my 2-frame have a weight stamp of 5 8.

my gun has the barrels stamped 5-14....these 3 frames were built stout and I use heavy loads in mine....really not to heavy if you have to walk a piece to get to the ducks or what ever....for squirls I use 1 1/4 ounce loads...for ducks and geese I use the 1 1/8 and 1 1/4 steel loads in the 3 inch federal or Winchester shells... for turkey I use the 3 inch shells 1 7/8or 2 ounce loads of lead or the new tungsten loads in 3 inch... charlie

I've probably had 12-15 project guns re-done over the 15 years, one of my most painful learnings is never buy a gun which has been worked on by a amateur gunsmith. You'll can spend thousands of dollar fixing their mistakes before you can start re-doing the gun. I now look for a clean guns which is worn but original.

3 frame 12 gauges are underrated in the Parker world. I love the two I own.
