I've been hunting with No. 1s for about 40 years. I learned early on to make that first shot count. It can help make a better shot out of you. That said, I have practiced and can reload a second shot in only a second or two longer than you can cycle a bolt gun. I had big dreams of taking one to Africa for dangerous game once. Therefore, the incentive to learn to reload quickly.
