I was pleased. All original to my eye except the pad, matches the serial book. 1926 28" "V" gun w/extractors, 2 1/2". Barrels mod x imp, MWT .030+ both sides, perfect inside.

Did the seller indicate that the pad was a replacement Keith? Ads for the Hawkins No. 25 first appeared in sporting magazine in 1925, but the pads may have been available prior to then.
Patent applications for the Hawkins Recoil Pad were filed Sept. 4, 1919 and Nov. 10, 1924. Patent No. 1,325,152 was granted to Frank D. Hawkins on Dec. 16, 1919, and Patent No. 1,538,990 on May 26, 1925; both for pads with the heart-shaped openings.
Please let us know if it letters with the pad.
