This gun is supposed to have engraving with birds on each side. ivory bead and red butt pad. .
the border engraving on a Sterlingworth is a basic zigzag pattern, with the word Sterlingworth on the side. Birds on factory engraving start well up the scale of grades, but could have been added.

The serial number and "birds engraved" are two conflicting features. Tell us more when you see the gun. Ejectors will be identified by the feature itself, not by a marking.
