As Dean says

Choke is based on a percentage of the shot in a 30” circle at 40 yards (except for .410 I think)

Pick a pellet size and load. Count the pellets in that load and then fire a few at a pattern board - count the holes in the circle and average it out

BTW. Different pellet sizes may pattern a just a little different in the same gun. So go with the load you will use

Keavin is this what you are seeking ? I seem to recall a similar chart in TPS as well concerning the choke percentage figures.

Remington Arms Co. published these choke/pellet counts for 40%, 60% and 75% for 7/8, 1, 1 1/8, 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 ounce loads in their catalogs.
