There is no reason that a V would be ordered with a Trojan stock (no realistic reason at least).

As dean posted, the stock was likely just from another gun.

Could a Trojan stock have a grip cap and correct putt plate added and be reshaped into a proper or at least passable V grade stock? Just wondering!
