I will be carrying a Fox Sterlingworth 32" barrels choked tight and tight. The load will be 15/8oz #9 TSS handloaded by Matt Buckley. Should be good to 300 yards.

5392, built in 1875, on the 1875 Patent. It is a $125 grade, with 28” uncut barrels, straight grip and SSBP.

I'm like Mark R., I like them up close and personal as I have been using a vintage recurve for years. This year I'll be using a new to me 32" 20ga Sterlingworth stoked with 7/8oz. handloads of #7 1/2's in the right tube and #7's in the left choked XF/XF. I know people will say 7 1/2's? Like Dean said it's really all about pattern density and it's worked for me for many years.
For me the challenge is getting them within 30yds. and then seeing the "oh sh#t" look in their eyes when you pop out of nowhere.
