Maybe the fellow was trying to comprise between a waterfowler and a upland gun . I think a heavy 16 ga would be fun to shoot , Im surprised it doesnt weigh more . Most the 10 ga #3 frames ive looked at are in the 9.5lb range , I would think 16 ga barrels on the that big of a frame would be quite thick unless they have alot of taper ?

Thats what I like about Parkers Bros , whatever oddball configuration you could come up with theyd likely build it for you .
