Harold I don't believe that there is a way for us to determine how many were made in that frame size. Some more knowledgeable folks will surely chime in with some ideas. I would think that our Researcher may have some information to offer on that topic. In my opinion I do not know that the word rare is accurate however uncommon would certainly seem to be appropriate. I have seen very few of these. I have a DHE 16 gauge with 32 inch barrels that weighs in at 7 lbs 4 oz. Straight stock, double trigger gun. With a nice 7/8 oz load it's more like shooting a 410. Very very much fun.
