Well said Austin.

Most museums hold collections of items that are described as "gifted", "loaned", and "donated" as well as some items that have been purchased by the museum in order to enhance the collection. This is not to say any items at all in the PGCA collection were ever purchased by the PGCA - I know of none that were - however, "museum quality" is a very good way to describe the PGCA collection.
