Default Grandson's First Shoot!

It isn't a Parker, but it was still a blast letting my 5 year old grandson shoot his great-great gramma's WRF. It is a Model 1890, made in 1907. Grampa took it apart before leaving for the Pacific Theater of Operations, and some of the pieces were misplaced. I bought some beautiful reproduction parts from Wisners and resurrected the old girl!

Way to start him young. What's next, a trip to the Hockey Hall of Fame?

Have a lottery request for entry into the BWCA on June 6 for smallmouth. Mosquitos and bronzebacks on a flyrod. What could be better?

Wish I had a pic like that of me with the Gamegetter that was the first gun I shot.

Good for you Mark! It's always nice to see the young'uns getting broke in early. The experience will stay with him throughout his life.
A real nice Winchester too!

If I can find the picture of myself up there on the West Branch in the height of black-fly season I'll post it. The side of my face and neck literally look like I was huntin' with Dick Cheney

Sorry to have hi-jacked your thread Mark.
