When the 401s and the 457s went down the tubes, the shotguns went down a bit slower, at least the Parkers did. I have never gone to a "stock site" on the internet or a "stock show" on a Saturday afternoon and bought common stock for sixty cents on the dollar.

The only time I've had a conversation with my wife over buying a gun was when I wanted (and purchased) a high condition DHE 20 with all the options, SST, VR, BTF straight stock. I needed her consent because she needed to sigh the home equity loan for the purchase

The second safe was explained, one is for rifles the other for shotguns they don't mix well

My wife questioned me about a Parker I had bought and I told her it was functional art.
Now she questions me with " How many Parkers do WE own"? For a woman who doesnt hunt or shoot, she sure knows a Parker when she sees one. JVB

This is the way it goes for me! Can I afford it?Do I really need it? Should I tell my wife about it? The answer to the third question is yes when it comes to Parkers! Yet! there is hidden in my man cave a certain Gibson "Les Paul" that I can not bring myself to tell her that I purchased. I have been pondering over this for several months, I really want to play the thing. but then I will be found out. Do you think I should tell her I bought it? I have to I guess.

She has to know.... otherwise, she'll take your guns to a pawn shop when you expire (PC word for "croak")
