Referring to the serialization book, by Price & Fjestad, the configuration matches on all but one point. The gauge listed in the book is 10. It is commonly acknowledged there are typos in the book.

How did you determine the gauge? I know I do not have a tool for that or example 8 gauge to refer to.

I will defer to others about value. I see this calling for at least some expenditures to make up for the care it missed getting over the years.

As for where to bring it to market, dues paying members here get to offer things for sale to the people we know are already most interested in what you have.
