was 80 degrees here in old miss. on thanks giving wish i could say i killed the limit....but atlast all i can sayis i enjoyed the hunt you had...was your gun one of those fabled 3 inch 32 inch barrel parkers you were shooting....what brand and size shot were you using in that 20 ga parker duck slayer....thanks for the story...keep shooting and give us the details..... charlie

No Woodcock yet, don't get them this close to the coast till a good hard freeze hits. I'm just north of White Lake next to the reserve in Vermilion Parish. With the front coming thru tonight, It'll be 34 degrees , getting close. Bill

Charlie, I was shooting #6 Bismuth NO-TOX in the 20 yesterday. Raining so hard this AM I had to use the Remington black gun. Son and I shot 8 and quit early for a ballgame. Don't know what I'd do if one of the Parkers got soaked, how would you dry it out and clean it? Don't think I'd be comfortable taking it apart. Bill
