Parker 20 Damascus info needed

A few years ago on this BBS, I was castigated by the always charming EDM for having the temerity to pay $3K for a GH D2 28" 20g 0 frame. I guess I was ahead of my time...I recently bought a 28" DH D3 O frame 20ga from a major dealer and was forced to pay 2X that and I had been looking for some time. Neither of these guns were exceptional. I guess I couldn't find all of these Damascus Parkers that are laying about... Parker 20g Damascus guns in nice condition in grades G and above are fairly scare IMHO- there are not that many about and a fair number of folks want them. My favorite 20g Damascus Parker is my 32" DH #2 frame 3" gun but an 8 pound 20g is probably not what most people are looking for...

Sounds like good buys. I went substantially more than that for a CHE 20 damascus, but within a year, I was offered substantially more than I paid, so I felt a bit better.

There is always some authority that pays less than you do and when he sells, his guns are always worth more than yours.

theres more people out there looking for those 3 inch 8 pound parker 20 ga than guns...i for one would like to have one.... charlie
