Frankly, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the stock being of Remington origin.

case in point being the stock and forend on Russ Jackson's CHE 20 gauge.

I know that trap shooters can not possibly leave a gun alone, but why in the world would you cut the barrels on a SBT????

John, a year or two ago we had a fellow on here looking to buy a SBT 20 gauge Parker so he could chop the barrel down to something manageable for grouse and woodcock in thick cover.... Honest John, I ain't lyin'...

Some hunting companions and I were talking about this the other day. Does a few more inches on a barrel really make one that much more manuverable in the woods???
