I can't find the one with the brass buckle in the 1887 or 1889 Parker catalog, but I think the metal clips are a Parker patent. The one in the 1887 and 1889 catalogs has leather shell receptacles and two light duty leather straps and buckles in place of the brass buckle pictured in the auction catalog. We might find the one with the big brass plate in the Johnson book but I can't find it in The Parker Story.

I can't believe the timing of this post. I was getting ready to ask for help in getting a value of my old shell belt that is loaded with empty brass 10 ga. shells. I don't believe it is marked either. I will try and take pictures tomorrow and post them. Just checked belt and is stamped H. Nelson Makers Kirkwood Missouri. Thomas L. Benson Sr.
