It's my recollection that 2010 and one or two earlier ones at Addievillle were variously billed as "informal shoots" and "warm ups for Hausmann's". See attached link for 2010. Tool Man and Dave were running them for the northeast contingent back then and one/both can clarify.
I do believe the 2012 event
in conjunction with the Vintage Cup is the first one that was stepped up and hyped as the "Fox - Parker Challenge" and with a large perpetual trophy. Again, Tool Man should be able to comment definitively.
