i would not be the least bit surprised - we rented a house for a stay in Belgium that was built in 1673 - still maintained and in great shape

when we were in Scotland we stayed a few days in a small village where all the houses were stone, we mentioned to our host that we lived in a stone house in the USA and he asked when it was built. We told him 1830, there was a pause and then he said "I don't think we have anything that new here"

if the building is sound and usable- its still there
