I've been using Rig for a long time. I probably have at least 10 rig rags stashed round between the house, garage, vehicles & shooting bags. I only use it on the metal surfaces & have never had a problem with rust. I keep a rig-rag in the door pocket of my hunting truck so I can wipe my gun down as soon as I get back to the truck after I've been in the field.
I also use it on my better tools to keep them in top shape.
