If refering to the nickel sliver shield in the toe line of the stock, this was a standard feature on every Parker VH - GH made. Nothing unique about it.
If something different, then you will need to post photos for use to see what you are speaking of.

That shield was provided so that the owner could have it engraved with his or her monogram, in higher grades it is an oval.
