So, would those of you who know the Reproductions say that is a fair price? I ask only because I located one with a straight grip and two triggers and am interested in purchasing it.

I don't think it's far off considering the condition. All things considered I'd rather have the straight grip gun. I have owned several reproductions in 28 and they are a dream to carry and shoot.

They have had that gun for quite some time. I don't understand why someone would go to the trouble of re heat treating, and not refinish the wood , or muller the borders.

2 triggers and straight grip for five grand is fair. If the barrels are 28", it is a steal. Why wouldn't Tony mention bone hardening if it were done? Are we sure?

To me, wood appears to have been stained and refinished. I don’t see the shine of the typical piano finish. I doubt Brad did the work. He would have definitely done the boarder.
