That reminds me of when I was involved with NAVHDA with my German Pointers, some of the German Shorthair Breeders up in Maine would do Skijoring , or have a pair of dogs pull a small dogsled in the winter to keep the dogs in shape and keep them happy over the winter when the bird seasons closed.

One of my now grown apprentice goose hunters asked me when he saw the picture if I had taught him Gee and Haw. I told him there was no need. Just hook him to the sled and he head towards the truck where a treat awaits. He goes in a straight line.
