Will relaying the ribs properly require the barrels to be reblued properly?

Yes. My only experience was with a Perazzi MX8. Briley's did the work. Pretty routine work for a good barrel guy, but there are a lot of little things that could go wrong.
I haven't had any work done by Briley's in a while, so I would go with someone recommended by the Parker Assoc. I've heard good things about Kirk Merrington.
