I agree with my friend Daryl on powder selection. Especially the Unique, which is cheaper than some of the others and is available in large containers. Further, it is suitable for use in the 28 gauge and heavier 12 gauge loads. An 8 pound container of Unique will last for years. I have been using Unique in all my 20s and 28s for fifty years or more, as well as in my lead shot days for 1 1/4 ounce 12 gauge and also for 1 1/4 ounce pigeon loads. CAC Associates, my supplier in PA, sells 8 pound kegs of Unique for $124.50.
