Please take one piece of advise from an old gastroenterologist and get on a Pro-biotic ( I like Align the best) before and after surgery regardless of whether they use opioids or not to get your digestive system regulated naturally in response to the anesthesia and drugs you will be exposed to. I think of you every time a Lefever needing rehabilitation comes by.
