i was hunting
but not game of any kind i was hunting my shotgun shells...i loaded up 75 rounds of light 10 ga loads knew were these were....the next bunch of shells to find was my 20 ga shells i had seen them in my bedroom 2 months ago but the wife had cleaned and moved my shells some where..after 30 minutes of looking i gave up..went out to the loading room and found 6 boxes..whew.....while looking for the 20 ga i found a case of high power 12 ga no 6 s ...did not remember haveing the 12 s till i found them took out 3 boxes of these shells just in case.... then i went to dragging out the guns i plan on useing on doves...i first dug out the 20 ga s the first one was a vh parker 27 inch barrels with 2 ivory sites...the next was a 20 ga lefever ds grade 28 inch barrels with tight chokes....the next gun i chose was a 3 frame 12 ga p grade 32 inch barrels with modified chokes both barrels...choosed this gun on acount of them high power shells...9 1/4 ponds of good steel..ha.....next was the 10 ga lifter early gun made in 1874 its one of those guns with the plain steel marked on the barrels...this thing is tighter than a tick on a bull...i will start off shooting this gun dove day...who in the world needs 4 guns and a 5 gallon can of ammo to hunt doves with....i do......charlie
