The dog engraved on the floor plate is Finn, my Springer Spaniel. It was the primary reason that I pursued engraving to begin with. They can be difficult to distinguish; I have mistaken Britts for Springers and vice versa. Thanks for the compliments, I have and will continue to enjoy hunting Dove, Quail and Pheasant with it especially Quail.
