Short version is that the tensile strength was greater than pattern welded tubes, and the "Parker Steel" used on Grade 1 PH & NH after 1917 was Decarbonized Steel.
Thank you for info, guess I could have been clearer not asking anyone if my gun in particular is safe just have no experience with this type barrel and wondered in general if it was safe.

No problem Scott.
Most dealers who report "MWT" do not provide the more meaningful (to our digits) numbers.

Although I only impersonate a metallurgist and ballistician on internet forums, I am at some risk of being mistaken for an "expert" by a personal injury lawyer, so always add the qualifier
